Your best time

Journal: You always got lots of questions right at bed time while I wanted you to sleep. You always said you just want to talk to me and ask me stuff. Big Yi-Yi said you are bullying me, but you are actually trying to share with me, 'cos this is your best time to have mommy listen to you and answer you. Your best time right before bed time.

Actually I felt a bit guilty on this as I always chase my sons to sleep but instead they always wanted to have more time with mommy, especially my 2nd son. It is the time that he really relax and thought of many things to ask and share with me.

The page is inspired by Pamela's sketch 142 and am using Color Me Daisy March kit, plus Making Memories journal pad, plus those cute little butterflies sent by Suzanne over at SoCalScrap, thanks Suzanne!

Some sites

I stumble upon this site Caardvarks from another blogger, it has so many beautiful cards there and now they are doing a challenge with adorable prize. I've straight subscribed to it using my Google reader. It has 364 followers now!

Sometimes I wonder how great this blogsphere is in connecting people all around the world. I've been subscribing to Elizabeth Kartchner's blog and her site can come up with more than 300 comments! Liz's site is one that if filled with fun colors and ideas, plus beautiful photos. I just love to read her post. Her layouts are all so fun to look at.

Another site that is always filled with readers is Ali Edward's blog. Ali's site is more of an organized person, it is neat and focus more on journal for her layout. It just remind me that layout can be real simple and yet full with meaning.

Another site that I follow is Pamela world of scrap where she shares her layout and her sketches. Even though that she needs to take care of a little baby now, she still finds time to do scrapbook. I suppose it is the same to all scrappers as we will definitely find time for what we love to do.

To me, scrapbook brings me back to sanity after a day filled with challenges with my boys. It is where I can assured them that mommy still loves them no matter what, and I wanted to keep all those sweet memories for them to read and fill in later days. I wanted also to scrap about those hard time that I've been having with them. They are my happiness and my frustration *LOL*.

If you are looking for color challenges or inspiration, head over to Kristina's blog, she host a color challenge every week and you'll be surprise that you can actually built beautiful cards with those colors. It is a matter of deciding which color is primary or more than others. She made nice bow too.

Of course there are still many great sites around, I've yet to discover them. ;)

Project 365

Day 122
May 2nd (Saturday): The boys discovered a fun way to spend their shower - together. And of course having fun with the comb.

Day 121
May 1st (Friday): Traveling day for me and my boys. Even though they have been on the planes for many times, they were still excited about getting on board and seeing their father. I was worried for Swine flu. Upon arriving HKIA, everything seems to be under control with more health personnel requesting us to fill in a declaration form. We straight went up to Shenzhen by Taxi.

Day 120
April 30th (Thursday): Little Mer caught red-handed in using my paper trimmer. I took the last chance at home to do a page - Similar.

Day 119
April 29th (Wednesday): Mom brought back two puppies from sis' neighbor. Of course the boys were super excited about it and wanted so much to feed them, touch them and play with them.

Day 118
[No Picture]
April 28th (Tuesday): Been busy running around town to get things done and has been a busy day at work that I wish I could take a leave.

Day 117
April 27th (Monday): Took leave today after knowing that I can't get back to the office in time after going to the bank for buying ASN. Went back there to meet up with Andrew the sales person from SUDC to get a unit from the property. I still wonder if this is the right move.

Day 116
[No picture]
April 26th (Sunday): Went over to Rebecca's home after church. One dreadful thing happened, Cal threw a toy over at Royden and got his upper lip cut. Straight used honey and then went to SMC, but the doctor doesn't seems to help much and he even commented that it take time to heal as the lips are always wet, ridiculous for me. It turns out that sis brought Royden to Dr. Huang and confirm that it will heal by itself and nothing to worry about. Thank God.

Project 365

Day 115
April 25th (Saturday): Went straight to see South China Sea Place in Asia City show room with the boys and big sis. The boys were excited to see the show unit. We went in big sis' car at first but found out that it was too hot for the boys to sit behind in the two doors sport car, thus went home to change to my own car instead.

Day 114
April 24th (Friday): The day we went home. We managed to get around town to visit two temples with our Vietnamese friends: Fang and Linh. On their bikes! Excited just to be on the trip.

Day 113
April 23rd (Thursday): Went to Ha Long Bay, Vietnam World Heritage Site which is filled with islands and caves. We could only managed to get into one of the cave. Had lunch on the boat and went visited some handicraft store which me and ML didn't buy anything.

Day 112
April 22nd (Wednesday): Another day filled with exhausting conference paper. We were more excited to see the food instead. And today is the last day of the conference which we were being treated with yet another good dinner filled with local food and western delicacy. But we still went out afterwards to get our Vietnamese noodle -Pho.

Day 111
April 21st (Tuesday): Been to a day of conference at the 14th CONSAL. Amazingly and surprisingly I found myself be surrounded by librarians all over the Southeast Asia! We went to the Opera House for the Gala night and worn our dresses that we bought the day before in Hanoi silk shop. Enjoyed the night of local performances and amazed by how talented and hardworking they all have been.

Day 110
April 20th (Monday): Another fun filled day but this time feeling exhausted from walking. We've been to the public library of Hanoi. They are still using the old system of borrowing. Feel so lucky of what we have at home. ML got stomach ache that evening, so we had our dinner nearby the hotel.

Day 109
April 19th (Sunday): Walk around the streets of Hanoi with ML with these hotel sandals. Such a fun free walk with ML. Discovered such many things about Hanoi and its people. It reminds me of China.

Simple LO

Did this layout before coming here to China. A very simple layout I must say, but it was fun to put together especially with the rub-on. I think I saw this sketch somewhere and wanted to join in the challenge, but later I forgot where did I see it. So here it is. Am using stuff from Color Me Daisy kit and Scrapbook Deals 4 U kit plus my own Making Memories journal pad. This layout is talking about how similar my two boys are even when they are in picture and they didnt' know what other's facial expression look like. Real brothers!
