Brave boy - Creative Scrappers

One Saturday, I had some time with this little boy after meeting his mom in giving her a mini album. When I offer to took him for a ride, he quickly grab his hat and hanky and without any hesitation, wanted to follow me, doesn't even need his parent to be around! Isn't it such a cutie?

I managed to snap a few shots with him in the car while on the way to pick up my two sons from art class. I know.. I may be the one who spoil the photos *LOL*

I'm using Studio Calico kit down till those small note card that came along the kit! Yes, that puppy is actually a note card saying who's packed the kit. It was Joy who did the packing, so I've used it and convert it into a tag with the word "Joy ride", isn't it great! I amazed myself sometimes *LOL*

I've pop up those small embellishment to make them more dimensional and I'm loving the effect, look at this cute camera.

Yes, I felt like I've lost touch with my site, my scrapbook, my creativity, my me-time. I felt that I've no mood to do scrapbook after a tiring day and needed sleep so much. I felt that I've been deprived of sleep. Partly due to the fact that I was doing something else instead of scrapbooking. I was baking! Yes! I've baked Suzanne's funeral cake, Suzanne's chocolate chips cookies ('cos I'm reading her book - Muffins and mayhem), some other pumpkin soup that I learnt from the net and even beef stew that I learnt from Martha Stewart's show. So out of the ordinary me.

Yes, I love every bit of that and I've enjoyed doing all those cooking and baking. I intended to do more cookies, I love those chocolate chips cookies and I've got all those ingredient ready. Just there for me to bake anytime when I felt like it. Just like the other night. After talking to hubby over the phone, I didn't go straight to bed, instead I've bake some muffins / cupcake out from the funeral cake recipe.

For the past weeks, I was even lazy to read others' blog post and I've been skipping here and there, till today. Then only know that I've lost so much opportunities in free give-away! Anyway, I seldom get them even when I've entered.

So, now, tonight I wanted to do a layout for a friend, finger crossed that I don't get too tire and my mojo is back.

Introducing little Elijah!

This bundle of joy belongs to Aunty J. I stole one of her photo (with her knowledge) and made this page. I fell in love with that chubby cheek and beautiful eyes. Then it is just nice for me to scrap this for a challenge over in Scrapbook Deals 4U. This is also a layout that I stop worrying about if I should use flowers or doily in a boy's page. He is just too adorable for not having any flowers there!

I have given this layout to Auntie J on Wednesday and really.. I felt like keeping it instead..hehe.. just too cute!

By the way, I'm using the Thrift shop kit from SD4U. Those cute crochet doilies are from Sweet Vintage.

Happy weekend! Mine now the boys are cleaning the drain!! Without even needing me to ask them to do so and I won't get them to do that either. It is just that Mer saw the next door maid do that and probably he thinks it is interesting and thus he started to clean our drain now. Hope they are not making a big mess out there.
