LO over the weekend

Have fun using the Coconut Scrapshop July kit and I've finally use the lettering that came together in their May's kit after sitting there for more than a month! I still have lots of other patter papers, stickers including letter stickers, tags, die-cut and ribbons that I haven't used in my stash. I know some day I'll find a suitable place for each and every single thing in my drawer.

The one below has used up some scrap left over from other LO. I just placed them behind the photos. Got this idea from Scrapbooks.etc magazine. I've finally found a suitable place for my velvet felt flowers too. Glad that they can blend in this LO. I still have a bit of self-criticism though. I think the number 2 should be lower a bit and let the U R be inside the circle..

Below is another layout that inspired by Scrapbooks.etc magazine. The background pp is from Autumn Leaves, the front pp is from Scenic Road that came in with the July kit. This is the first time I sew swirl in my LO. And I've incorporated the butterfly which is a form stamp as the apostrophe of my title.

Self-criticism is that maybe the photo together with the white pp can be in the middle of the page more.

This photo actually being taken years ago in Trincomalee, Sri Lanka when we went over to visit hubby who were working there then. This is little Cal in the picture, taking time to enjoy every little bit of things outdoor. I just love this photo, it feels a bit like those cartoon in Precious Moment.

I've been dreaming for a scraproom like the one below taken from Making Memories' blog and they have shown that during CHA recently. Just love the green color and the simple setting. Could someone please buy me a room like that? :D
