It is true..

That your love for each other is unmeasurable!
And of course I love seeing them sharing a cup of soft-drinks. Of course I love that when they share, when they are not fighting, when they are having fun together, laughing and teasing each other.. But it always has to stop somewhere before they overdoing it.

The ribbon is actually the left over from the doily trim backing which I've tied up with twine and add some blings:

I love the sentence that says "We do not remember days, we remember moments" It is so true.

Love how everything just came together in this layout using Studio Calico kit, plus the challenge from Scrapbook Deals 4U.

Oh ya.. Auntie J has posted about a layout that I did for cute little Eli, will post about it later.

Happy scrapping!

Celebrate mini-album

Updates:
Auntie J already post up the after photos of this mini album in her blog here.

Okay, here is one mini that I did, first time ever for a friend's new baby. These are all the before photos of the album, as for the after album look complete with cute photos of the baby and those precious moment, you'll have to bug Auntie J to post up those photos in her blog.

I'm glad I've made her this album as it can be a brag book for her and of course hopefully Eli will love it when he grow older.

Yes, this album is a mixture of everything that I've in my stash of paper, mostly left over from monthly kits and some are those that I save for special layout and they ended up in this mini-album.
One thing, I wish I can have those photos ready before I together this album, it would help me a lot in arranging it plus putting those embellishment in the right place.

So, go over to bug Auntie J and you sure can see little Eli in her site. *wink* I must warn you though, you might just fall in love with this little guy.

Lady Gaga inpired

Yes, we are to do a layout base on Lady Gaga's songs' title or relics over in Scrapbook Deals 4U Summer Camp Rock challenge, which I've picked "Boys, boys, boys" as the title, though I don't remember listening to this song in the radio. But it was fun doing a layout using that title plus all those misting. I've used 3 different colors mists here! Fun!

Here are some close-up:

I'm using Scrapbook Deals 4U June's kit. Love those Pebble's chipboard and stickers. They are just so cute! I wish I had more of them!
I just had to try on some dotted doodling for the dragon fly, to make it looks like it is flying up.

Happy weekend and happy scrapping you all!
Oh ya.. these photos were taken under low light at night.

Yong forever

I did a layout for the Summer Camp Rock in Scrapbook Deals 4U, but a bit too late to load it into the gallery before due time. Anyway, I am glad that I managed to do a layout base on the challenge, else I will not even scrap those photos. You can read about the challenge here.

Here is what I came up with using Basic Grey Kioshi Paper.

Photos were taken on 29 Dec, 2007 in China. Those cute crochet flowers are from Dear Lizzy line, aren't they just cute!? I've bought more of such crochet flower from an Etsy Shop here.
I got this idea of using a frame for those crochet flowers from Piradee on this layout of her. Thanks Piradee!

To make the title pop up from the busy background, I've doodle around the letters to make them more prominent.

Now I'm off to solve the Scavenger Hunt over in Scrapbook Deals 4U.

Happy Scrapping!

Product used: Basic Grey Kioshi PP, letter stickers, ribbon doilies, K&Company die-cut stickers frames, AC Dear Lizzy crochet flowers, Pink Paislee Queen Bee bella brads, October Afternoon Trift Shop label stickers, Tim Holtz distressing ink and Doodlebug DesignIinc. pigment ink.

Oh.. no...

I thought those stamps in Studio Calico can wait. But no, they wait for nobody!

I've been eying for this "coffee stain" stamp:
I've already been thinking on where and how to use it in my layouts. But it is all gone now. I guess I'll have to really use a real cup for the effect.

There is another thing that I'm eyeing for - Martha Steward butterfly punch:
And probably this one too, but I'm not sure how big it is:
It is definitely worth it to buy together with my monthly kit, since they'll be shipped together. As for now, if I buy them, they'll work out more expensive than getting it from the local scrapbook store, even though it is still another online store.

I'm happy though, 'cos today I receive my June kit, and Joy is so kind to get me some goodies together with my purchase of the red mist, 'cos they run out of the pink mist that I wanted, they have even refunded me and yet still giving me goodies, so sweet of them.

I'm looking forward to play with kit, together with my Scrapbook Deals4U June kit, Basic Grey page kit, wow! I've got a handful actually and I'm out of inspiration and photos to scrap.

I've been so lazy lately to take photos .. and I've just missed the chance to earn some point from the Summer Camp Rock in Scrapbook Deals 4U, 'cos I forgot to load my layout in the gallery. I'm looking forward for another challenge.

I am in the middle of doing a mini album for "Today You" as well, one that I hope my boys will love and cherish. But I haven't decided what photos to use yet. Finger crossed, and sure will share about it here.

Camp Rock #1

Scrapbook Deals 4U is going into the second Summer Camp Rock Challenge now. While I'm putting a thinking hat on that one, let me just share with you what I've done for the challenge #1.
The layout must contain 3 things...
  1. One pic only....a photograph of YOU
  2. Your favorite color must be dominant followed by least favorite color. (you may use other colors but minimal)
  3. Your nickname.

Here is what I've done:
My favorite color is green and the one least favorite color is purple, which by the way, I'm wearing that color today..hmm.. Monday blue maybe *LOL* Actually I don't have a least favorite color. It is just that purple to me is harder to scrap and it is harder to match with other color. As for my nickname, yup, Honey. I was being called that during  my senior high, 'cos I was sitting with a bunch of guys who were ever so talkative and I was like being cornered. Somehow I get along well with them and they started to give me this nickname - Honey. Even till now, some of them still call me that. I kind of like it too, especially if hubby is the one who call me that *wink*.

I'm using Studio Calico kit plus some Prima and BoBunny flowers. My Fiskars border punch come into used and my Slice too. That little birdie is cut using Slice.

Well, what are you waiting for? If you haven't join in the fun yet, head straight over to Scrapbook Deals 4U forum and get yourself registered for the camp rock.

Happy Monday you all!

Today

Yes, I'm still here.. It is almost 11pm now.  Another house will be mid-night, I'm suppose to be in bed dreaming away considering that I haven't have enough sleep for the whole week. Partly due to some housework that I need to do, partly due to getting online with hubby and surfing, partly also due to the fact that I did some craft stuff. Not much, just a card, but I've been reading others' blog. I've been checking back the forum in Scrapbook Deals 4U.

One thing that used up most of my time is to read others' blog. Sometimes I skip and just look at their craft work. Today I feel more like reading others' real story instead of just craft. Other day I just look for inspiration on a layout.

Yes, It is weekend now. That means we all can sleep a bit late. The boys were even just fallen asleep instead of the normal 9pm to be in bed thing. Tonight they play and play in the room. I still heard them less than 5 minutes ago. Now it is completely silent. They must have gone to their dreamland.

Tomorrow hubby will be back. It means I can relax more for he'll take care of the boys. It also means I might not have time for myself as I would love to spend more time with him. It also means, we can go for movie together! This is what I really looking forward to. "Prince of Persia : Sands of Time" !! On the other hand, it probably also means less scrapping time, he gets a bit jealous of me being in the scraproom "all the time" *LOL*

Okay, back to scrapbook stuff. Scrapbook Deals 4U summer camp rock has just got the 2nd challenge up, that is to use one of PageMaps' sketch, must use "forever young", or "young forever" as the title, and must include at least 2 photos. So, peeps, I'm putting my thinking hat on now. But let me get some sleep first.

Goodnight! Or good morning to some ;)

p/s: Oh ya, thank you for leaving messages/comments in my blog, I really love to hear from you all and surely love to hear what you think. So do leave me some love.

Bed-time story

Last night was different.
Every night the boys wanted me to read them a story or two, normally two, right before bed-time. But last night, Cal found my 25 days till Christmas booklet that I did in 2009, so they wanted to much for me to read to them what I've written on those pages with their photos on. They got excited and so interested on what had happened on those days.

I've actually missed out some day without any journaling and photo! Ali did amazingly good on this.
Now, I wanted so much to do Ali's week in the life story book.
Now.. let see.. when should I get started...hmm...
