Back and kicking

Yup, got back from Kuching last Saturday and since working on my mini album. I've posted all photos in "Glad to be here".

What I'm going to show here is the first mini album that I've just did in 6"x7" black cardstock. I found this pack of old photos which I've taken on my two boys during the months of May and June in 2006. I've scrapbook some photos in it, but felt that I should include them in just one mini book, so here is the result:

Front cover with mis-match embellishment.

First and 2nd page. I've used photos corner for all the photos made from pattern paper. Tags are from Basic Grey Match Book and HOTP kit. Ribbons are from Scrap-n-crop Chinese new year kit and HOTP kit. Alphabet stamps and pattern paper from HOTP.

That really is my first mini album. Other things I've used are buttons and gems. I did't use any brad for this afraid that it will rust on my project again.

It is fun to do this mini book, but I wanted to have one that is more coordinated and proabaly one that I can put into a ring album. Now my photos are very expose to humidity so they might not last long. I've actually follow the instructions from somewhere I read over the net or was it from scrapscene. Thanks for whoever that was showing their great idea.
